waking up to u, my heart sings a morning melody. ur handsome face layed on my shoulder. ur eyelids blanket those eyes that entrance me and make me believe u. eyes still closed, u kiss me and whisper good morning. my waking blink replies. the crackle of the autumn leaves rolling around on the concrete announces todays chill, but the warm dinner of yesterday still lingers on my breath. but i must arise and face the day, and leave u here dreaming of the dream we live...but i wish i could stay.
